I ran some queries on all NA servers today for population estimates as found using a check of those in the LFG chat channel. Even if you don't care about mythic raiding, it's best to choose a realm that's very populous for your chosen faction unless you're joining a friend who's on a different sort of realm. All but one of the realms is completely P2W, and the PvP is cross-realm so you'll be at a huge disadvantage anyways.
